Commands & Docs

Everything Rewynd can do. Type / in Discord to see them.

Quick start: an admin must run /setup first (pick a clip channel and accept the privacy & recording terms). Until that's done, no other commands work — they'll point you back to setup. Then anyone /joins a voice channel and uses /clip to save the last few seconds. Open the soundboard with /soundboard.

🎬 Recording & clips

/join joins your voice channel and starts the rolling buffer.
/leave disconnects and clears the buffer.
/clip [seconds] [users] [mode] saves the last N seconds. Choose how far back, which people to include, and mixed or multitrack.
/clipmenu [seconds] lets you pick participants from the people currently in the channel, then clips.
/status shows a health check: latency, voice connection, and who's currently buffered.

🎛️ Soundboard

/soundboard opens the button panel (with a 🎲 Random button and an effect picker).
/play <name> plays a sound.
/remix <sound> <effect> plays a sound through an effect on the fly: nightcore, slowed, reverb, reverse, bass boost, and more.
/addsound <file> [name] uploads a sound, then lets you trim and rename it before saving.
/trimsound <name> visually trims a saved sound (waveform, preview, save).
/sounds lists the server's sounds.
/removesound <name> deletes a sound. You can always delete a sound you uploaded, or a clip saved to the soundboard that includes your voice, even if this command is restricted to a role.

🗣️ Voice & fun

/say <text> [voice] makes Rewynd speak your text in voice, with natural neural voices.
/setentrance <sound> [user] sets a sound that plays when someone joins.
/clearentrance [user] removes an entrance sound.
/entrances lists everyone's entrance sounds.
/leaderboard shows top sounds (all-time and this week) and top players.
/transcribe <sound> turns a saved sound into text (there's also a 📝 button on clips). The audio is sent to our transcription provider to generate the text; see Privacy.

🛡️ Admin & settings

/setup runs the first-run wizard: clip channel and accepting terms.
/settings show views all settings.
/settings clipchannel / buffer / mode / format / autojoin configure the bot.
/permissions opens a menu to restrict commands to a role of your choice. Admins are always allowed; unset means everyone. A few safety commands (/privacy, /deletemydata, /report, /feedback) can't be restricted, so members can always exercise data rights and report problems.
/plan shows what Rewynd can do on this server.

/privacy explains how Rewynd handles data.
/deletemydata removes your personal data from this server.
/deletedata lets admins erase all of this server's Rewynd data.
/report <sound> [reason] flags a soundboard sound for review.
/feedback <message> sends feedback or a bug report to the team.

🎉 Beta

Rewynd is in beta: 15-second buffer, 30 sounds, soundboard, TTS, and effects.
Limited capacity: to keep audio quality high we cap how many servers can record at once, so at peak times the bot may be at capacity and ask you to try again shortly. Limits and availability may change as we scale.
