Everything Rewynd can do. Type / in Discord to see them.
Quick start: an admin must run
/setup first (pick a clip channel
and accept the privacy & recording terms). Until that's done, no other commands
work — they'll point you back to setup. Then anyone /joins a voice
channel; Rewynd posts a recording notice and, the first time, a row of ⏪ Clip
buttons so you can try it right away. Open the soundboard with /soundboard.
Rewynd leaves on its own after 5 minutes of silence; /join brings it back.
🎬 Recording & clips
/joinjoins your voice channel and starts the rolling buffer./leavedisconnects and clears the buffer./clip [seconds] [users] [mode]saves the last N seconds. Choose how far back, which people to include, and mixed or multitrack./clipmenu [seconds]lets you pick participants from the people currently in the channel, then clips./clippanel [style](admin) posts pinnable one-tap buttons: quick = ⏪ Clip 10s / 30s / max; people = a card per person in voice with their avatar and a Clip button (🔄 Refresh keeps it current).- React ⏪ on the recording notice to clip the last few seconds instantly, no command needed.
- On any posted clip: 🎬 Video renders a vertical MP4 with avatars, an animated waveform and captions; ✂️ Trim opens the waveform editor; 📝 Transcribe gives you the text. React 💾 to save the clip to the soundboard, ⭐ to nominate it for the weekly recap.
/statusshows a health check: latency, voice connection, and who's currently buffered.
🎛️ Soundboard
/soundboardopens the button panel (with a 🎲 Random button and an effect picker)./play <name>plays a sound./remix <sound> <effect>plays a sound through an effect on the fly: nightcore, slowed, reverb, reverse, bass boost, and more./addsound <file> [name]uploads a sound, then lets you trim and rename it before saving./trimsound <name>visually trims a saved sound (waveform, preview, save)./soundslists the server's sounds./removesound <name>deletes a sound. You can always delete a sound you uploaded, or a clip saved to the soundboard that includes your voice, even if this command is restricted to a role./importsound <sound> [name]copies one sound from your server's Discord soundboard into Rewynd./importsoundboard(admin) previews your whole Discord soundboard — what fits, what already exists — and imports it when you confirm. Imported sounds stay even if the server later loses boosts./grab [name]saves the Discord soundboard sound you just played in Rewynd's channel — including sounds from other servers and Discord's built-in ones.
🗣️ Voice & fun
/say <text> [voice]makes Rewynd speak your text in voice, with natural neural voices./setentrance <sound> [user]sets a sound that plays when someone joins./clearentrance [user]removes an entrance sound./entranceslists everyone's entrance sounds./leaderboardshows top sounds (all-time and this week) and top players./yapshows the voice talk-time leaderboard — who won't shut up, all-time and this week.- Weekly recap: every Sunday, servers that were active that week get a recap in their clip channel — clips, plays, top clippers, top sounds, most talkative, and the ⭐ clip of the week.
/languagepicks the language Rewynd replies to you in (English, Español, Português). By default it follows your Discord client language, and the choice follows you across servers./transcribe <sound>turns a saved sound into text (there's also a 📝 button on clips). The audio is sent to our transcription provider to generate the text; see Privacy.
🛡️ Admin & settings
/setupruns the first-run wizard: clip channel and accepting terms./settings showviews all settings./settings clipchannel / buffer / mode / format / autojoinconfigure the bot. Auto-join (Rewynd enters voice by itself when people talk) is off by default; turn it on with/settings autojoin true./permissionsopens a menu to restrict commands to a role of your choice. Admins are always allowed; unset means everyone. 🎉 Beta
- Rewynd is in beta: 30-second buffer, 30 sounds, soundboard, clip videos, TTS, and effects.
- Limited capacity: to keep audio quality high we cap how many servers can record at once, so at peak times the bot may be at capacity and ask you to try again shortly. Limits and availability may change as we scale.
